The following 7 body movements should be avoided in some countries:

 1 . Thumbs-up

A thumbs-up sign to agree in western countries. For the Javanese, the thumb is used to indicate the direction polite. But in Iran and Middle Eastern countries, the thumbs-up means rough.

Called ' bilakh ' in Iran, meaning the thumbs ' up '. Even if you 're traveling and standing in the street, thumbs-up on passing vehicles means ' please pass ' not quit.

 2 . Finger movements ' OK '

OK gesture, with thumb and forefinger forming a circle, looks normal in many countries including Indonesia. But be careful, this gesture could mean rough in some Mediterranean countries such as Turkey, Brazil, and Greece.

This sign is considered to give a signal if someone is cowardly or brash person. This movement also means homosexuality. In some Middle Eastern countries , this movement also means evil eye.

 3 . Using the left hand

In Muslim countries, do not use your left hand to shake hands. Similarly to eat, or give an item. The left hand is considered dirty, so it's not polite if used when meeting other people.

 4 . Using the index

In many countries, less polite if you use the index to indicate the direction. In any country you are in, use the entire open hand to indicate the direction.


 5 . Excessive familiarity motion

Some states have their own familiarity movement that seemed strange in the eyes of foreign tourists. Mediterranean countries for example, ordinary people kissed each other both women and men.

In some Muslim areas such as the Middle East, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia, women are not allowed to shake hands with men. In Buddhist countries including Thailand, very rude if you touch the head of the local residents. Therefore, better 'll let someone else introduce myself first.
