The Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) 2013 will take place in Bali, October. Hotels in Nusa Dua will be used by the delegates. Tourists were asked to stay in another area.
APEC summit will be held from 1 to 8 October 2013 in the Nusa Dua, Bali. The international meeting, the heads of state and delegates from 21 countries will attend, including U.S. President Barack Obama and Russian President Vladimir Putin. Therefore, hotels in Nusa Dua will be used for the delegates.
"October, the delegates will stay at Nusa Dua and the surrounding areas. Tanjung Benoa, Jimbaran also," said Secretary of the Association of Indonesian Hotels and Restaurants (PHRI) Bali, Perry Markus.
Therefore, tourists who visited Bali in early October was asked to stay apart in these areas.
"The area will be blocked later. Happens specifically for the delegates," added Perry.
Do not worry, there are many areas in Bali which is open to tourists. You are planning to come in October to stay in crowded tourist areas.
"Later, travelers can move on to other areas such as Ubud, Kuta, Sanur, and other areas," added Perry.
